I started this blog for two reasons – to document my journey learning to use R and leaving some footprints for those who might be coming right behind me. I use R a lot, simply because I just love the language – I love it’s quirks and it’s mystery; I am constantly amazed by its extensibility and the kind of stuff R users are putting out there; I love the community we enjoy as R users and treasure it so much; and I want to share this with as many people as possible.
I’m doing a lot of work trying to learn this language and I think it’s just fair that I share the insights I’ve gained.
On this site, I’m going to try to keep things practical (of what use is a programming language if it can’t help you in the real world)? My name is Victor Ordu, I live in Abuja, Nigeria, and this is Adventures with R.
